Above is a slide that I use during my presentations to emphasize the importance of joining our teams system.

A lot of people join businesses like ours for legitimate reasons such as product and opportunity. They then in their excitement run out onto the “field” and without a lick of skills and start “Playing the game”.  Amazingly their results are lack luster and very soon discouragement and frustration set in and in most cases they quit the “game” altogether.

So here’s the solution…

Give people a REALISTIC idea of what needs to happen for them to really achieve success in this business. I use the above picture as an illustration to point out that Derek Jeter, one of major league baseballs most highly compensated players DESERVES the income he gets and here’s why…

For almost a hundred years the “rules” of baseball have never changed. In fact the equipment has pretty much stayed the same as well. So if in 1996 Derek made a measly $109,000 for the year and now makes over $22,000,000 a year, what’s the difference?

Answer: SKILLS!

Derek DECIDED to become better. He learned skills. He continually worked at PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT and because of that he is now rewarded for it.

10 years ago very, very few people could tell you who Derek Jeter was.

It’s the same with joining our business. You HAVE TO LEARN CERTAIN SKILLS. There is NO short cut. Although many so called “gurus” state they have the “short cut system” for your greatest success, I beg to differ.

When you give people the tools and skills, they are unstoppable!
